The Piranhas are an exciting range of sea rods with plenty of bite! All Piranha rods are manufactured from UHM
carbon [ultra-high-modulus] with a 'refractured' finish, complimented with
black and red whippings. With a full range of high performance reels to
accompany the Piranha rod range, these really are some of the very best combinations available.
This rod is extremely well balanced, with two interchangeable push in tips: Flattie
Tip (2-4oz) and Bass Tip (3-5oz). It is ideal for estuaries, shallow water or
for when scratching for bites.
The rod can be combined with the C1683 Piranha 5500 RD, C1686 Piranha 6500 FD or
C1699 Piranha 6000 multiplier reels.
The rod is 12ft long and casts 2-5oz sinkers. It features a down-screwing reel fitting with EVA grips.
