The Piranhas are an exciting range of sea rods with plenty of bite! All Piranha rods are manufactured from UHM
carbon [ultra-high-modulus] with a 'refractured' finish, complimented with
black and red whippings. With a full range of high performance reels to
accompany the Piranha rod range, these really are some of the very best combinations available.
This rod has the same blank as the Power Plus Surf but is set up for use with multiplier
reels. We recommend that you combine it with the C1693 Piranha 7000
multiplier reel.
The rod is 12ft long and casts 5-8oz sinkers. It is ideal for clean ground distance casting
to rough ground 'snag- hauling'. The rod is 2 piece and is supplied with an adjustable reel seat, 18' reducer and PVC shrink tube handle.
