The Piranhas are an exciting range of sea rods with plenty of bite! All Piranha rods are manufactured from UHM
carbon [ultra-high-modulus] with a 'refractured' finish, complimented with
black and red whippings. With a full range of high performance reels to
accompany the Piranha rod range, these really are some of the very best combinations available.
This is a very versatile rod for saltwater lure fishing with either plugs or casting
lures. It can be combined with the C1683 Piranha 5500 RD reel. The rod has a UHM carbon blank with an accelerating progressive action. It also features a responsive
tip to prevent 'hook pulls'.
The rod is 10ft 6in long and casts 20 to 80g lures. It has a down-screwing reel fitting with a full cork handle.
